The Hawaiʻi Department of Transportation (HDOT) and the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) are jointly hosting a two-day Small Business Development Series in Hilo on April 23rd and April 24th. Lessons learned during the series will be applicable to pursuing government contracts at the local, state, and federal levels. Topics covered will include how to get registered and certified by various government entities, where to find state contracting info, how to make an effective capability statement, getting financing and bonding, and more.
