Gainseville transit announces proposed DBE goal

The City of Gainesville Regional Transit System (RTS) is seeking comment for its proposed 1.5 percent overall disadvantaged business enterprise (DBE) participation goal for Fiscal Years 2014-2016.
As a recipient of federal transportation funding, the RTS is required to implement a DBE program.
Individuals interested in reviewing the program, the DBE goal, and its rationale can find the documentation at the RTS Administration Office, 100 SE 10th Ave., Gainesville, FL 32601 between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday.
Public comments regarding the goal will be accepted by RTS until June 14, 2013 and should be addressed in writing to:
