Public input sought for KY Transportation Cabinet DBE goal

In accordance with federal requirements, the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet is seeking public input regarding its proposed three-year disadvantaged business enterprise (DBE) participation goal.
If approved, the Transportation Cabinet's Office for Civil Rights and Small Business Development will begin implementing an annual overall DBE participation goal of 7 percent when the federal fiscal year begins on October 1st.
The previous three-year goal, established in 2010, was set at 7.76 percent.
The goals and methodology are not yet available on the Transportation Cabinet's website, but will be available at http://transportation.ky.gov/Civil-Rights-and-Small-Business-Development from May 26th until June 25th. Written comments from the public will be accepted from June 25th until July 10th, and can be submitted through the website or mailed to:
