Raleigh-Durham Airport proposes new ACDBE goals
Published on 06/06/2017

The Raleigh-Durham Airport Authority has announced its proposed Airport Concessions Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (ACDBE) goals for Fiscal Years 2018, 2019 and 2020 and is inviting input from interested stakeholders.

The Authority is soliciting comments regarding the availability of ACDBEs, the effects of discrimination on opportunities for ACDBEs, and the ACDBE goals themselves.

For the upcoming three-year period, the Authority is proposing a goal of 27.9 percent for non-car rental. Most of the goal - 27.2 percent - would be achieved through race-conscious measures.

For Fiscal Years 2015 to 2017, the Airport Authority’s ACDBE goal’s are: 27 percent for non-car rental concessions. The entire goal is being achieved through race-conscious means.

The Authority is holding an open meeting regarding the ACDBE goal on June 26th between 10:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. at the Authority Administrative building. If you would like to attend or submit comments about the goal, please contact Thiané D. Carter at thiane.carter@rdu.com.
