Idaho proposes three-year DBE goals for highway, transit projects

The Idaho Transportation Department (IDT) has announced it's proposed disadvantaged business enterprise (DBE) participation goals for projects funded by the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and Federal Transit Administration (FTA) for Fiscal Years 2018-2020.

The proposed overall goal for FHWA-funded contracts is 8.3 percent - 5.9 percent of which will be achieved through the use of DBE subcontracting goals on individual contracts.

The proposed overall goal for FTA-funded contracts is 13 percent. IDT plans to meet this goal without resorting to individual contract goals.

The Department is accepting public comments on the proposed DBE goals until July 28th. Comments can be sent to civilrights@itd.idaho.gov.
