Nashville to examine M/WBE participation, invites public participation
Published on 09/28/2017

The Metropolitan Government of Nashville & Davidson County (Metro Nashville) is conducting two studies analyzing participation levels of minority- and women-owned business enterprises (M/WBEs) in Metro Nashville contracting.

Metro Nashville is inviting the public to take part in both it's disparity study and Minority Enterprise Growth & Needs (MEGAN) study in an effort to produce a growth and needs assessment for those same M/WBEs.

The Nashville community can participate in the studies by taking part in public engagement meetings, public hearings, anecdotal interviews, and an online survey of business owners.

There will also be two upcoming public hearings on the studies, though they have not yet been scheduled.
