The San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency (SFMTA) has published an IFB for the first phase of the L Taraval Improvements project.
The project has a construction estimate of $38.4 million, and follows the L Taraval Line (a San Francisco Muni Metro Line) from the San Francisco Zoo to Sunset Boulevard. The bid date for the project is November 14th, 2018. The participation goals that have been established for this project are 10 percent for Small Business Enterprise (SBE), 5 percent for African-American Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE), and 5 percent for Woman-Owned Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE).
There will be two pre-bid events, both held on October 23rd of 2018 at One South Van Ness Ave, San Francisco, CA 94103. A Good-Faith Effort Networking Event will be held in Candlestick Conference Room at 9 AM. Directly afterwards, there will be a Pre-Bid Conference in the 7th Floor Union Square Conference Room 10 AM. The pre-bid conference topics will include an overview of the project, construction issues, non-discrimination requirements, and questions from attendees. Attendees to the Networking Event will have a chance to meet directly one-on-one with a prime.
