The Indiana Department of Administration (IDOA) has announced dates for public meetings related to the upcoming 2020 disparity study that IDOA has commissioned. The disparity study is intended to provide insight into potential disparities in state contracting and inform the measures IDOA takes relating to encouraging minority- and woman-owned business enterprise (MWBE) participation.
Towards this end, IDOA is hosting six public meetings (on three separate days, spread across three cities) where MWBEs are invited to provide their experiences in public contracting, as well as their experiences and any difficulties they may have encountered in the marketplace more generally. The meetings times, dates, and locations are as follows:
