Mecklenburg County to hold disparity study public meetings

Mecklenburg County will hold two public meetings in Febraury regarding the upcoming minority and women owned businesses enterprise (MWBE) disparity study that it has commissioned.

The public meetings will offer interested parties a chance to share their experiences - whether positive or negative - with doing business with Mecklenburg County, and their opinions and insights on how the county can do better to incorporate diverse businesses into the contracting process. All comments will be put into the public record and may be used as anecdotal evidence in the 2020 disparity study.

The first meeting will be held on: February 5th, 2020, from 5 PM to 6:30 PM, at the Goodwill Opportunity Campus, Room 2352, 5301 Wilkinson Blvd, Charlotte, NC 28208.

The second meeting will be held on: February 6th, 2020, from 5 PM to 6:30 PM, at the Charlotte Mecklenburg Government Center, Room 267, 600 East 4th St, Charlotte, NC 28208.
