Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority announces triennial DBE goals

Due to its statutory responsibilities as a recipient of funds from the Federal Transit Administration (FTA), the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority has announced its triennial participation goals for disadvantaged business enterprises (DBEs) for fiscal years 2021 through 2023. The DBE participation goal for MARTA contracts during that time period is 23 percent.

The DBE goal reflects the level of DBE participation that would be expected on transit contracts absent of the effects of discrimination, and is based on demonstrable evidence of the availability of ready, willing and able DBEs.

The proposed DBE goal and its methodology will be reviewed at a Small Business Community and Stakeholder event held virtually on July 14th, 2020 at 10 AM.
