The Port Authority of Allegheny County has published its triennial disadvantaged business enterprise (DBE) contract participation goals for the period of fiscal years 2021 through 2023, as required by law. The proposed goal has been set at 19.01 percent.
The proposed goal and its rationale are available for public review upon request for a period of 30 days beginning on August 21, 2020, the original date of the notice. Requests may be sent to sbroadus@portauthority.org. Written comments will also be accepted at: Port Authority of Allegheny County, Office of Disadvantaged Business Enterprise & Diverse Business, Heinz 57 Center, 345 Sixth Avenue, Floor 5, Pittsburgh, PA 15222. Comments may be sent email to DBEProgram@portauthority.org. The period for accepting comments is the same as the review period.
The Port Authority of Allegheny County will also host a public consultation meeting to provide interested members of the public with a forum to comment on the goal and its rationale. The meeting will be held via teleconference at two times on Tuesday, September 8, 2020, at 10 AM to 11:30 AM and 1 PM to 2:30 PM.
