Governor Kathy Hochul has announced details for the state's 2022 Regional Minority- and Women-owned Business Enterprises (MWBE) Online Opportunities Expo Series. There will be five events in the series, running from April through June of 2022. The events will provide MWBE attendees with networking opportunities, workshops, and vital information on building capacity and doing business with the state.
Opportunities available to attendees will include: information on state-sponsored financial and technical assistance programs, such as the New York State COVID-19 Pandemic Small Business Recovery Grant Program, the Bridge to Success Loan Program, and the New York State Surety Bond Assistance Program; presentations on current and upcoming contract opportunities with the State; workshops on business development, procurement assistance, and access to capital; networking opportunities with representatives of a wide variety of State agencies and buyers, and more.
"This series of events will help connect MWBEs throughout New York with the resources they need to continue on the path to success," said Governor Hochul in a press release.
