City of Chicago sets 2023-2025 DBE goal

The City of Chicago has announced its DBE participation goal for projects receiving federal funding during fiscal years 2023 through 2025. The City is required to do so as a recipient of federal transportation funding.

The figure has been set at 26 percent for the time period. The proposed goal and the methodology by which the goal is arrived it are open for public comment for a period of thirty days starting from the initial notice (which was August 30, 2022).
