City of Austin seeking public comment on DBE goal

The City of Austin is currently seeking public comment on its proposed DBE participation goal for the triennial period of fiscal years 2024 through 2026. The City is required to set such participation goals as a recipient of federal transportation funding.

The City of Austin will be accepting comments on the goal through July 28th of 2023. Comments may be submitted via email at dbepubliccomments@austintexas.gov. In addition, an interactive meeting will be held on Tuesday, July 25, 2023, at 2 PM (with a registration link provided by the City closer to the date), at which interested parties, including minority- and woman-owned business, are encouraged to attend and provide feedback on the goal and the methodology used to set the goal, as well as on their experiences of doing business, or attempting to do business, with the City.
