The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) has published a proposed DBE participation goal for federally-funded transportation projects during the period of October 1, 2023 through September 30, 2026. The goal has been set at 10.97 percent.
VDOT proposes to meet 8.48 percent DBE utilization by means of race- and gender-conscious means and 2.49 percent DBE utilization through race- and gender-neutral means. The methodology used to reach the proposed DBE goal is available for review at http://www.virginiadot.org/business/bu-civil-rights-home.asp through Saturday, July 29, 2023.
