MnDOT invites public comment on proposed DBE goals
Published on 06/11/2024

The Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) is hosting two virtual public meetings on its proposed disadvantaged business enterprise (DBE) participation goals for fiscal years 2025 through 2027. MnDOT is required to set such triennial DBE participation goals as a condition of receiving federal transportation funding.

MnDOT has not yet published the figure for the DBE participation goal it is setting for the period, but is currently expecting to do so on June 18th, 2024 (where it will be live at https://www.dot.state.mn.us/civilrights/small-business-program-information.html), after which there will be a 30-day public comment period.

Accordingly, MnDOT has scheduled two public hearings on the to-be-proposed DBE participation goal and the methodology being used to set the goal. The first will be on June 18, 2024, from 2 to 3 PM, at https://umn.zoom.us/j/99475024481.

The second meeting will be on June 24, 2024, from 1:30 to 2:30 PM, at https://umn.zoom.us/j/99475024481. Any questions about the meetings may be directed to Sean.Skibbie@state.mn.us.
