The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) is preparing to conduct an Availability and Disparity Study through a consulting firm to examine the whether there is evidence of discrimination in the state's highway transportation contracting sector.
As part of the study, the department will be soliciting anecdotes from all stakeholders regarding their personal experiences at events hosted around the state, the dates, times, and locations of which will be announced in September.
In the meantime, Caltrans is inviting those that wish to provide their testimony now to send an email with their comments to Caltrans.2015Disparity@bbcresearch.com. Any personal information involved with the submission will remain confidential to the extent permitted by law.
