In early December, the California Department of General Services and the Financial Information System for California (FI$Cal) rolled out the Cal eProcure vendor portal, which offers a modern, more streamlined way of doing business with the state of California.
The Cal eProcure is the buying, selling and small business component of FI$Cal and replaces BidSync as the procurement system of record for the state.
Through the new website, vendors can apply for small business or disabled veteran business enterprise (SB/DVBE) certification, find certified SB/DVBEs, and access the
State Contracting and Procurement Registration System (SCPRS).
Additionally, state departments will start posting new bids/solicitations in Cal eProcure that can be found by bidders.
