The State of New York is pleased to announce 17 statewide business community meetings to discuss the implementation of the forthcoming 2016 MWBE Disparity Study. The Study is designed to review Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprise (MWBE) participation on State contracts awarded from April 1, 2010 to March 31, 2015 and assess the policies related to maximizing MWBE participation.
Three business community meetings are currently scheduled for New York City and Long Island and will occur in February. The Upstate meetings will be held in February and March, at times to be announced.
