The California Department of General Services is hosting free webinars through the end of February to introduce businesses to the state's new electronic procurement system.
Cal eProcure, as the new system is known, is replacing BidSync as the portal through which nearly all procurement-related activities are funneled. Companies that do business with the state access procurement opportunities or become certified as small or disabled veteran business enterprises through the site, while state departments and agencies will use the system to post new bids and solicitations.
