Once established, the VBOC will provide information on small business ownership to service members and military spouses, in addition to providing business counseling, training, and technical assistance.
The SBA has already established 14 VBOCs across the country, including one in Sacramento.
Organizations and institutions interested in applying for the grant can do so at http://www.grants.gov. All applications must be receieved before 11:59 p.m. EDT on March 29, 2016 to be considered.
