Oregon DOT setting triennial DBE goal
Published on 04/21/2016

The Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) is proposing an overall 11.6 percent disadvantaged business enterprise (DBE) contracting goal on contracts funded by the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) over the next three years.

If the plan is approved by the FHWA, the department would achieve 6.6 percent of the goal through race-conscious measures, including DBE contracting goals on individual contracts.

The public will be able to attend public meetings and provide written comments to ODOT on the goal in May 2016 before the department submits its final proposed goal to the FHWA on August 1.

For more information on the goal and the methodology through which it was determined, visit https://www.oregon.gov/ODOT/CS/CIVILRIGHTS/docs/dbe/DBE%20Goal%20Proposal%20FHWA%20Contracts%202017-2019_Final04042016.pdf.
