The proposed upgrades to Saratoga County's Waste Water Treatment Plant includes installation of efficient technology for the biological removal of ammonia from wastewater. The project will repair aged infrastructure. Structural concrete modifications to the existing North & South Aeration Basins, New handrail, replacement and upgrade of the existing North and South Aeration Basin Systems, mixers, sluice gates, upgrade and expansion of the existing North and South Blower Building & Blowers, new 10" & 12" thick split face masonry block, interior finishes, EPDM Roofing, new overhead doors and entrance doors, construction of new concrete aeration tanks 9 & 10, new 60" 48" & 30" dia. DI influent and effluent aeration tank piping, construction of a new chemical storage & feed building and associated above ground and underground piping, new asphalt paving.
