FBD Vanguard Construction, Inc. is requesting quotes from all certified DBE firms for the following items of work including but not limited to: Street Clean-up, Temporary Traffic Control Plan, Project Information Sign, Portable Changeable Message Signs, Implement WPCP, Potholing, Remove Existing Striping/Markings/Markers, Remove Concrete, Saw Cut AC, Remove Existing Chain Link Fence, Roadway Excavation, Install Trees, 90 Calendar Day Maintenance Period, Install Pedestrian Median Fence, Subgrade Preparation, Surface Rehabilitation, Aggregate Base, Microsurfacing, Crack Filler, Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA), Ready Mix Concrete, Cold Planing, Street Signs, Street Name Signs on Traffic Signal Mast Arms, Regulatory Signs on Traffic Signal Mast Arms, Install Bollards, Install Detectable Directional Bar Tiles, Remove and Replace Survey Monument, Adjust Monument Box to Grade, Install New Frame and Cover on Existing Monument, Striping & Markings, Skid Resistant Green Thermoplastic Pavement Material, Conduit (Traffic Signal), Pull Box (Traffic Signal), Pedestrian Push Button Posts, Traffic Signal System, Speed Radar Sign, New 12-Inch RCP Lateral, Regular Hooded Inlet D-5 and Box, CSJ Concentric Storm Drain Manhole D-13.

FBD Vanguard Construction Inc. can assist in payment of a reasonable bond premium. A 100% payment bond and performance bond will be required. Vanguard will pay bond premium up to 2%. Please note that no contractor or subcontractor may be listed on a bid proposal for a public works project (submitted on or after March 1, 2015) unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5 [with limited exceptions from this requirement for bid purposes only under Labor Code section 1771.1(a)]. Subcontractors must possess a current contractors license, insurance and workers compensation coverage meeting the owners requirements and will be required to sign the standard FBD Vanguard Construction, Inc. subcontract agreement. Plans and specifications are available to be viewed in our office located at 550 Greenville Road, Livermore, Ca 94550 between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM Monday through Friday by appointment or you can send a request for this project and we will send you the specs/plans.
