West LA VA Buildings 156 & 157
Location: 700 Bonsall Ave., Los Angeles CA, 90073

The West LA VA Building 156 & 157 consists of the adaptive re-use of VA Buildings 156 & 157 on the West LA Campus. The buildings will be converted to affordable residential units that will include (96) studio units, (14) 1 bedroom units and (2) 2 bedroom manager's units for a total of (112) units. Existing buildings will be converted from Type I to Type IIIA. Approx. 78,552 sf.

Bids must be received by Monday June 12, at 4:00pm for the following trades:

Rough Carpentry, Finish Carpentry, Siding, Masonry, HVAC, Cleanup, Insulation, Glazing, Sheet Metal, Roofing, Plaster, Drywall, Painting, Cabinets, Ceramic Tile, Carpet, Landscape, etc. Walton Construction, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to and encourages the participation of Local, Section 3, DVBE subcontractors/suppliers on the VA Building 156 & 157 project.

Walton Construction, Inc. plans to receive bids from Section 3, Los Angeles County. Local Hire and DVBE (SDVOSBs/VOSBs), MBE, and WBE firms for participation in the VA Building 156 & 157 project. Certified firms must provide a copy of their current Section 3 and Diversity Business certification. This project is a California State (Commercial) and Davis Bacon Prevailing Wage job (The higher of the two applies). Project is also subject to Section 3, and Local Hire Requirements.
