This project consists of the Design and Construction of Accessibility Upgrades at Thirteen Stations in the Five Boroughs of NYC which will encompass design and construction of eighteen (18) new elevators and four (4) ramps.

The scope of work for this Project includes demolition and modifications to existing stairs, construction of new stairs and ramps, expansion/modifications to existing mezzanines and platforms, modifications to back-of-house spaces, new and upgraded electrical and communications systems, modifications to existing fare array railing/gates systems, construction of new fare array railings/gates, construction of new elevator enclosures, and modification/restoration of curb/sidewalk.

Other scopes of work include excavation, SOE work, disposal of contaminated soils, asbestos abatement, noise and vibration monitoring, utility relocations, structural steel, concrete, rebar, masonry, carpentry work, waterproofing, glass, metal roofing, misc ironwork, tiling, painting, platform reconstruction, crack & spall repairs, plumbing, fire protection, HVAC, elevators, and other trades typically associated with this type of work.

This project is a Federally Funded Project and has DBE Goals assigned to it. ADA aXess Partners encourages and promotes the maximum MWDBE and SDVOB Participation as possible on this and all of its projects.
