Shaft Structural State of Good Repair Program - Package 1
Rehabilitation of ventilation and emergency egress shafts located in Metrorail tunnels, including structural and electrical elements within these shafts. The electrical equipment servicing the fans require replacement, this includes the motor control centers (MCCs), electrical disconnects, transformers, automatic voltage regulators (AVRs), local low-voltage distribution panels, transfer switches, and the power feeds back to the substations. Structural elements consist of the correction of concrete and steel defects, steel and concrete corrosion control, and groundwater infiltration migration.
Rehabilitation of shafts, to include mechanical, structural, and electrical elements within these shafts.
