Ragnar Benson LLC is seeking proposals for Caltrans Contract No. 12-0S1104. The Project includes construction on state highway in Orange County from Bolsa Chica Road overcrossing in Garden Grove to Lewis Street Overcrossing in Orange.
Project Description: Work items include, but are not limited to the following: Electrical Lighting & Fiber Systems • Lead Compliance Plan • SWPPP Plan & Reports • Water Quality Sampling & Analysis • Miscellaneous Iron & Steel • Storm Piping & Drainage • Operate Irrigation Facilities • Concrete Barrier Wall • Barrier Wall Removal • Traffic Control • Temporary Barrier System • Pavement Markings • Erosion Control • Maintain Planting Areas • Signs • Flagging • Water Truck • Sweeping • Trucking & Hauling • Material Supply - Electrical • Material Supply - Concrete & Plastic Pipe

Proposals Are Requested by Tuesday, August 13th 2024 by 5:00 PM (PST). Proposal submittal is needed prior to our bid submittal to Caltrans on Wednesday, August 14th 2024 to allow for final bid preparation. Please indicate which pay items you intend to quote on the project as soon as possible.

Contractor License: A valid California Contractor License is required to bid this project. Please list your contractor license number on your proposal along with your Public Works Contractor Registration Number.

Bond: Please include a separate cost on your proposal for the total value or rate for providing a Payment and Performance Bond.

Taxes: Project is NOT tax exempt. Please include all required taxes in your proposal.

Schedule: Please include durations for your work scopes on your proposal. Contract completion time is 450 working days. It is anticipated work would begin in late 2024 and finish in mid to late 2026

Prevailing wages are required on this Contract. Obtain the wage rates at the DIR website, http://www.dir.ca.gov, or from the Department's Labor Compliance Office of the district in which the work is located.
