Project Description: This Contract is for the construction for the expansion of the train storage capacity at MTA’s MARC storage yard and maintenance facility in Baltimore County, adjacent to Martin State Airport and referred to as the Martin Maintenance Yard.

The work involves: two new additional layover tracks with a service aisle and potable water hydrants between the tracks, a No. 8 Double Crossover between Tracks A & B a full length, direct fixation Inspection Pit on Track I with recessed lighting and electrical receptacles, compressed air piping extensions to service vehicles at the head ends of two new layover tracks, partial electrification of the two new tracks, pole mounted light fixtures for the two new tracks, one oily water separator, a precast SWM vault with cast-in-place concrete manway access slabs and stand-by power cabinets at the block ends of the two layover tracks.



Scopes of Work (but not limited to): Fencing, Electrical, Landscaping, Asphalt Paving, Sheet Piling, Trucking & Disposal, Catenary Electric, Catenary Foundation, Drilled Shafts, Catenary Steel, Landscaping, Rebar Furnish/Install, Precast Storm Drainage, Underground Storm Water Reservoir System, etc.
