Nationwide Contracting Services, inc. is looking for quotes from DBE Certified firms. Work includes, but is not limited to, controlling for water pollution; traffic control; erosion control; clearing and grubbing; curb, gutter, cross gutter, driveway, colored concrete, and sidewalk work; roadway excavation; imported borrow; Asphalt ; PCC pavement; landscape and irrigation; proprietary BMPs; Trucking; pavement markings and signage; street lighting; trenching and backfill for underground electric conduits; water appurtenances and fire hydrant relocations; storm drain installation; traffic signal modifications. Additive alternate A consists of pavement rehab & curb ramps, traffic signal modifications and other work associated with rehabilitating the roadway along University Avenue.

Additional Information: Nationwide General Construction services, inc. is requesting pricing for all items of work on the project. Subcontractors and suppliers are required to submit price quotes to us within a reasonable time prior to the bid date, in order to fully evaluate quote. 100% performance bonds may be required for the full subcontracted amount. Nationwide General Construction Services. inc. will pay up to 1.5% of the bond premium. Subcontractors must possess a valid California Contractor’s license, DIR Registration Number, current insurance. Subcontractor’s will be required to sign a standard subcontract agreement. This is a prevailing wage project and does have a union or PLA (Project Labor Agreement) requirement and is subject to a Community Benefits Agreement (CBA), which includes PLA provisions, and it also requires the use of a Skilled and Trained Workforce.
