Project Description:
This contract pertains to the construction of the City of Millville Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) 3rd Secondary Clarifier Addition Project. The work involves the following:
1. Site Work: a) Pavement restoration b) Piping modifications c) Site regrading d) Demolition of below-grade piping and structures
2. Existing Aeration Tanks: a) Install vent pipes on Mixed Liquor pipes
3. Existing Secondary Clarifiers: a) Relocate existing scum piping b) Install vent pipes on Secondary Effluent pipes
4. 3rd Secondary Clarifier: a) Install a new cast-in-place concrete Secondary Clarifier No. 3. including clarifier mechanisms and meter vault b) Install a new cast-in-place scum pump station including pumps, piping, and appurtenances c) Install associated piping, valving, and appurtenances
5. Returned Activated Sludge (RAS) Pump Station: a) Modify existing pump station wet well for new RAS line from Secondary Clarifier No. 3
6. Electrical and Instrumentation/SCADA System Upgrades: a) Upgrade the existing electrical distribution system to provide power to the new equipment provided under this contract. b) Upgrade the instrumentation/SCADA system to facilitate implementation of the other project components.
Scope of work (but not limited to): Dewatering, Electrical, Ground Penetrating Radar, Geotech. Instrumentation & Montior, Mechanical, Painting & Lead Abatement, PDA Test, Plumbing, Rebar, Surveying, Trucking, Concrete Pump
