SCOPE OF WORK

Proposals are invited for Contract No. T100.646 which involves bridge deck Hydro-Demolition, bridge deck Latex Modified Concrete (LMC) overlay, fatigue steel repairs, structural steel repairs, bearing replacements, bearing repairs, painting existing steelwork, substructure concrete repairs, drainage improvements, maintenance and protection of traffic measures and other incidental work on Structure W107.87 of the New Jersey Turnpike from Milepost W107.29 to W108.7 in Essex and Hudson Counties, New Jersey. The work shall include the necessary traffic control, utility coordination, railroad coordination, Coast Guard coordination, other agency coordination, and all other work required in the successful prosecution of the work. PUBLIC WORKS CONTRACTOR REGISTRATION:
Contractors shall comply with the Public Works Contractor Registration Act (“PWCRA”), as amended in, N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.48 et seq. All Bidders shall be registered pursuant to the PWCRA at the time of Proposal submission and are requested to submit a valid certificate of registration with their Proposals. No Contractor or Subcontractor, including lower tier Subcontractors, shall engage in the performance of any public work subject to the Contract, unless the Contractor or Subcontractor is registered pursuant to the Act.

BUSINESS REGISTRATION ACT:
Proof of valid business registration with the State of New Jersey Department of the Treasury, Division of Revenue and Enterprise Services, shall be submitted by the successful Bidder prior to award of the Contract in the form of a valid Business Registration Certificate in compliance with N.J.S.A. 52:32-44, as amended. No Contract shall be awarded without proof of business registration with the Division of Revenue and Enterprise Services.
