Ragnar Benson LLC is seeking proposals for Caltrans Contract No. 01-0K9404. The project includes a 22% DBE goal and consists of construction on state highway 101 in Humboldt County in and near Eureka from Herrick Avenue overcrossing to 0.1 mile north of Highland Avenue.

Subcontracting and supplier/vendor work items include, but are not limited to the following:

Erosion Control, SWPPP & Water Pollution Control Program, Mico-Surfacing, Hot Mix Asphalt, Concrete Minor (Stamped, Curb, Sidewalk, Curb Ramp), Bar Reinforcing Steel, Roadside Clearing, Roadway Excavation, Aggregate Base, Remove Concrete, Electric Signals, Lighting & Fiber Optic System, Pipe Culverts & Manholes, Structural Concrete - Drainage Inlet, Lead Compliance Plan, Contractor Supplied Biologist, Temporary Barrier System, Fence, Guardrail, Pavement Markings, Landscaping, Road Signs, Pre/Post Construction Surveys, Traffic Control, Sweeping, Electric Material Supply, Sawcutting, Trucking

Proposals Are Due on Tuesday, October 22nd 2024 by 2:00 PM (PST). Proposal submittal is needed prior to our bid submittal to Caltrans on Thursday, October 24th 2024 to allow for final bid preparation. Please indicate which pay items you intend to quote on the project as soon as possible.

Contractor License: A valid California Contractor License is required to bid this project. Please list your contractor license number on your proposal along with your Public Works Contractor Registration Number.

Bond: Please include a separate cost on your proposal for the total value or rate for providing a Payment and Performance Bond.

Taxes: Project is NOT tax exempt. Please include all required taxes in your proposal.

Schedule: Please include durations for your work scopes on your proposal. . The Notice to Proceed is anticipated for December 2024 or January 2025 with completion early 2026. The NTP will be dependent upon obtaining project permits.
