Cratus, Inc. is requesting quotes from SBE Subcontractors, Suppliers & Haulers for the construction of the West Pipeline Inspection and Rehabilitation Project

No specific goal has been established for the project, but participation is highly encouraged.

The project involves draining all water from the West Pipeline and partial drainage of the Santa Clara, Campbell, Sunnyvale, and Mountain View systems. Key actions include removing 66 linear feet of existing steel pipe, installing an 84-inch Quito line valve and a 36-inch Santa Clara Distributary line valve, and replacing a 30-inch flowmeter and associated valves in the Cox Meter Vault and Cox Reservoir Turnout. Additional tasks include retrofitting a vault with a precast riser, providing logistical support for internal inspections, traffic control, clearing access routes, and removing trees as needed. Internal repairs may be necessary based on inspection findings, alongside coating and waterproofing vault walls and exposed appurtenances. The installation of electrical conduits, enclosures, lights, and panels as per the drawings, alongside the coordination and installation of SCADA system components. Additionally, the furnishing and installation of vault hatches, manholes, ladders, vent hole screens, and corrosion control test stations. Appurtenance components such as valves, flanges, pipe joints, and utility boxes will be procured and installed, along with the vent piping for air release valves. The project also requires the replacement of gaskets on existing nozzles and blind flanges, as well as repairs to vault roofs and hatches. Finally, all impacted work sites will be restored to their original condition or improved upon post-construction.

The engineer's estimate is between $18 - $24 Million

Quotes are requested from qualified Subcontractors, Suppliers & Haulers for scopes of work, including but not limited to; Traffic Control, Saw-Cutting, Demolition, Excavation & Backfill, Jack and Boring, Sewer Bypass System, Manhole Maintenance, Precast Concrete And Polymer Concrete Structures, Geotechnical Instrumentation And Monitoring, Slurry Seal, Electrical Work, SWPPP, Exclusion Fencing, CCTV, Shoring, Paving, Surveying, Abandonment, Trucking, and all Other Required Work. Suppliers are required for materials including Piping, Sewer Materials & Construction Aggregates.
