General Work Description:
GMH Builders has been selected as the contractor to construct this New Permeant Supportive Housing and Community Services center project In Guerneville, CA. New construction of a two-story multi-family permanent supportive housing (R2 occupancy) as well as first floor supportive services (commercial). Project consists of Twenty-Two housing units totaling 4,882 sf, 2,160 sf of commercial space and 3,473 sf of covered porch and associated utility infrastructure and site development work.

Expected start: November 1, 2024

Seeking ALL subcontractors/suppliers/truckers for this project, especially MBE/WBE/Section 3. Trades needed (but not limited to):
Abatement, Scaffolding, Building Demolition, Concrete & Reinforcing, Masonry, Steel and Misc Metals, Rough Carpentry, Casework and Millwork, Sanitary Plastic Paneling (FRP/FRL), Building Insulation, Elastomeric Coatings, Metal Roofing, Architectural Flashings, Doors, Frames & Hardware, Glass and Glazing, Framing and Drywall, Ceramic Tile, Acoustical Ceilings, Flooring, Painting, Signage, Toilet Partitions and Bathroom Accessories, Appliances, Window Coverings, Fire Protection, Plumbing, HVAC, Electrical, Earthwork, Solider Piles �" Catchment Wall, Landscaping and Decorative Metal Fences and Gates.



No contractor or subcontractor may be listed on a bid proposal for a public works project (submitted on or after March 1, 2015) unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations. This project is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the Department of Industrial Relations. No contractor or subcontractor may be awarded a contract for public work on a public works project (awarded on or after April 1, 2015) unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5. *This project is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the Department of Industrial Relations.
Certificate of Insurance for General Liability, Auto Liability, Excess Liability and Workers' Compensation are required. A waiver of subrogation will also be required with all subcontract agreements for all those lines of business excess. Subcontractors will be required to enter into our standard contract with GMH insurance requirements. All subcontractors/vendors awarded work on this project may have to furnish subcontract
performance and payment bonds, for the amount of the subcontract bid, issued by an admitted corporate surety acceptable to our company (if required).
State Labor Code Provisions - This project is subject to the provisions of California Labor Code Sections 1771, 1775, 1776, 1777.5, 1813, and 1815.

CA Skilled and Trained Workforce Requirements - Construction of the project is subject to Skilled and Trained Workforce Requirements under California Public Contract Code (PCC) Chapter 2.9 (Sections 2600 �" 2603), administered by the California Department of Industrial Relations.

Prevailing Wage Requirements �" This project is subject to both state and federal prevailing wage requirements. The higher rates of the two packages listed below will apply:
• The Department of Industrial Relations (State of California) DIR 2024-2. Attention must be paid to predetermined increases and travel/subsistence payments
• Davis Bacon (Federal) package CA20240007, Mod 15, published 09/13/2024 - https://sam.gov/wage-determination/CA20240007/15

Federal Labor Provisions �" the project is subject to federal contract requirements, including providing employment opportunities to minorities, women, and low-income persons and contracting opportunities to Minority-, Women-, and Section 3 businesses. For workers, the minimum Section 3 benchmark is twenty-five (25) percent or more of the total number of labor hours worked by all workers on a Section 3 project are Section 3 workers; and five (5) percent or more of the total number of labor hours worked by all workers on a Section 3 project are Targeted Section 3 workers.
