Overall scope of work:
1. New Bulk Sodium Hypochlorite Building
a. Sodium Hypochlorite Storage Area with grated access platforms above containment area.
b. Bulk sodium hypochlorite storage tanks, day tanks and access platforms.
e. Removable skylight access panels for tank removal.
d. Sodium Hypochlorite metering, transfer, and sump pumps.
e. Chemical Piping and valves.
f. Electrical Room.
g. Mechanical Room with HVAC equipment for the building.
2. New interior and exterior sodium hypochlorite piping and injection points. Containment piping with canier tubing extends from new building to existing chemical injection points throughout the site. Chemical vaults are to be installed along piping runs to facilitate installation and replacement of chemical tubing.
3. New Liquid Lime Storage and Feed system in new outdoor concrete containment area
a. Liquid Lime storage tanks.
b. Liquid Lime pump enclosure with transfer pumps, feed pumps, power and control panels, safety shower, and sump pumps.
4. New Liquid Lime Truck Unloading Station with LCS, remote from new outdoor containment area.
5. New interior and exterior liquid lime piping, tubing, injection points, and junction boxes. Containment piping with carrier tubing extends from new containment area to existing chemical injection points at the rapid mix and clearwells. Chemical junction boxes are to be installed along piping runs to facilitate installation and replacement of chemical tubing.
6. New MCC equipment in the Electrical Room to replace existing MCC equipment in existing plant’s Chemical Building. New power feed from Filter Building to New Sodium

Subcontractors, Materials and Services Sought:
• General Requirements, Temporary facilities, Traffic Control, Dewatering, Surveying and asbuilts, Videographer & Documentation, Testing of sanitary sewers, storm drainage, reclaim water, water service, valves and manholes for proper installation and performance.
• Concrete Structures: Flatwork, Building Pads.
• Building Construction: new chemical building: concrete CMU masonry, Wall insulation, Hollow Core, Doors, Damproofing, Fire-Extiguishers, Signage, Water Heater, Skylight, Metal Roofing, Precast Beams, Steel Trusses
• Finishes, Painting, Coating & lining, Wet-well Protective liner
• Electrical: associated electrical cabinets panels conduit, systems & components, VFD, Lighting, Lightning Protection, SPD
• Mech.-HVAC: HVAC system, Split AC system, Testing
• Mech.-Equipment: Bulk Tanks, Grinder, Blower, Injector
• Misc Metals: FRP Grating, Metal Stairs, FRP Handrail
• Waterwork Piping: Valves, DIP, PVC, HDPE, Stainless Steel, hangers and supports, Pipe insulation, Wall Penetration
• Waterwork Equipment: Pumps, Slide gates, Mixers, Access Hatches
• Site Piping: Water utilities, Storm-drainage, Yard Piping, valves, Precast concrete structures, reinforced concrete, Connection to existing force main, gravity sewer, other site utilities.
• Site Prep: Erosion Control, Clear & Grubbing, temporary steel sheeting, groundwater dewatering
• Site work: dump trucking import of Soil & Stone: placement of fill material, and fine grading. bedding, backfill, compaction, road/drive subbase excavation,disposal of excess excavated materials,
• Paving: Asphalt roadway paving, Pavement marking, road signs
• Other miscellaneous work shown in the Specifications for a complete and operational system.
Overall Contract Time
1. Substantially complete in 621 consecutive calendar days from date of Official Notice to Proceed.
2. Final completion in seven 670 consecutive calendar days from date of Official Notice to Proceed.
