Springfield Water Consolidation Project

The project to expand and enhance the Springfield Water System includes well equipping, well modifications, two new 110,000 gallon bolted steel water storage tanks, chlorination facilities, site improvements, electrical and lighting improvements, electrical and chemical building, back-up generator, pump station, approximately 12,500 linear feet of new 6- and 8-inch potable water distribution system piping in public roads and private easements including a new cased crossing across State Route 1, and water service laterals from the main to private residences and businesses. The Project also includes removal and/or abandonment of the existing Springfield Water System and the Moss Landing Mobile Home Park Well including well destruction, as well as destruction of two private wells.

No specific goal has been established for the project, but participation is highly encouraged.

The engineers estimate is $12,500,000.00

Cratus, Inc. is requesting subcontractor and material supply quotes from qualified and certified Disadvantaged Business Enterprise firms including MBE, WBE, SBE, SBRA, LSAF, & HUB. The Project may be funded in whole or part by the EPA through the California State Revolving Fund (CASRF) Clean Water and Drinking Water SRF (CWSRF) and Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (DWSRF) programs, which requires compliance with Build America, Buy America Act (BABA), Davis Bacon prevailing wage rates, and USEPA DBE compliance requirements.

Quotes are requested from qualified Subcontractors, Suppliers & Haulers for scopes of work, including but not limited to Traffic Control, Saw-Cutting, Demolition, Excavation & Backfill, Jack and Boring, Sewer Bypass System, Manhole Maintenance, Precast Concrete And Polymer Concrete Structures, Geotechnical Instrumentation And Monitoring, Slurry Seal, Electrical Work, SWPPP, Exclusion Fencing, CCTV, Shoring, Paving, Surveying, Abandonment, Trucking, and all Other Required Work.
Suppliers are required for materials including Piping Materials & Construction Aggregates.
