Valentine Corporation is seeking certified DBE subcontractors, suppliers & truckers for quotes including, but not limited to, the following scopes of work. CONSTRUCTION SURVEY, PROGRESS SCHEDULE (CRITICAL PATH), TRAFFIC CONTROL SYSTEM, STORMWATER POLLUTION PREVENTION PLAN, WATER QUALITY SAMPLING AND ANALYSIS DAY, WATER QUALITY MONITORING REPORT, WATER QUALITY ANNUAL REPORT, BIOLOGIST, INVASIVE SPECIES CONTROL, TEMPORARY HIGH VISIBILITY FENCE, CLEARING AND GRUBBING, TREE REMOVAL, HYDROSEED, FIBER ROLLS, TEMPORARY TRESTLE AND ACCESS, COLUMN CASING, TEMPORARY FENCE (TYPE BW), RECONSTRUCT FENCE (TYPE BW) AND TRUCKING. Valentine is available to discuss breaking out any portion of work to encourage minority participation. Quotes are due by noon on bid day.
Engineers Estimate: $1,352,100.00 / DBE 17% / Time to Complete: 105 WORKING DAYS

Bonds may be required, if so Valentine Corporation can assist. A 100% payment bond and performance bond may be required for the full amount of the subcontract price. Please provide a bond premium rate with your quote. Note that no contractor or subcontractor may be listed on a bid proposal for a public works project unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5 [with limited exceptions from this requirement for bid purposes only under Labor Code section 1771.1(a)]. Subcontractors must possess a current contractor's license, insurance and worker's compensation coverage meeting CALTRANS requirements and will be required to sign the standard Valentine Corporation Subcontract Agreement.
