Project Details

Stalco is submitting a GC bid to SUNY Stony Brook for the S.B.U.H. Level 18S Renovation for L.I.N.C.A.T.S. project and are seeking qualified NYS Certified M/WBE & SDVOB subcontractors to provide quotes

The goals are 18.9% MBE, 11.1% WBE & 6% SDVOB

The work to be done under the Contract, in accordance with the Contract Documents, consists of performing, installing, furnishing and supplying all materials, equipment, labor and incidentals necessary or convenient for the construction of Project Number 24/25-086MC, titled; S.B.U.H. Level 18S Renovation for L.I.N.C.A.T.S. and carry out all of the duties and obligations imposed upon the Contractor by the Contract Documents.

The main features of the work shall include, but not be limited to the following:
Renovation of tower floor in an occupied hospital to include, but not limited to: asbestos abatement, ICRA set-up and removal, demolition, cutting and capping of existing systems for future tie-in (while maintaining systems to adjacent spaces), removal of all abandoned temporary lighting, wiring, etc. above ceiling, remove and replace walls and doors, flooring, ceilings and related construction, fire coat steel beams as necessary, fire stop all penetrations in existing and new rated walls, electrical upgrades including new panels, transformers and wiring, mechanical upgrades, Building management system, medical gas system, nurse call system, pneumatic tube system, low voltage cabling, and installation of accessories

Work not included in the work of the Contract are those items marked "N.I.C"; movable furnishings, except those specifically specified or indicated on the Drawings; and items marked "by others".
