We are seeking General Contractors (Class A) and subcontractors/suppliers to install approximately 1,600 linear feet of 12-inch C900 and 9,200 linear feet of 12” ductile iron pipe water main, one water service replacement, eight fire hydrants, eight water main tie-ins, three blow-offs abandonment of existing water facilities, site restoration, and asphalt concrete paving. We are seeking underground mechanical contractors, mechanical/piping suppliers, traffic control, erosion control, and asphalt subcontractors. The project site is located in an unincorporated area of El Dorado County, near the City of South Lake Tahoe. The work is within the ROW of a very active roadway; work will require full time traffic control and will be subjected restricted work hours. The project is expected to occur between July and October 2025. The project is being funded in part by a grant from the EPA’s Community Grants Program, a grant from the USDA Forest Service under the authority of the Lake Tahoe Restoration Act, and a California Drinking Water State Revolving Fund Loan. We are seeking participation by Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs).
