RTA Construction, Inc. is soliciting proposals and quotes from all Minority Owned Business Enterprises, Woman Owned Business Enterprises and Veteran Owned Business Enterprises (MBE/WBE/VBE) for the City of Dorris, CA Water Treatment Plant Improvements Project. Sealed proposals will be received by the City of Dorris, 307 S. Main Street, P.O. Box 768, Dorris, California, 96023, until 1:00 p.m. local time, March 12, 2025 at which time they shall be publicly opened and read. The project is located west of the intersection of West 2nd Street and Portland Street in the City of Dorris and consists of demolition of existing water treatment building, improvements to the existing well head piping, new backup generator, ground mount solar array, security chain-link fence, New C.M.U. block water treatment building, and new SCADA to run water treatment plan.

RTA Construction, Inc. is requesting quotes from MBE/WBE/VBEs for all disciplines of work involved with this project including, but not limited to, the following items: demolition of existing water treatment building, improvements to the existing well head piping, new backup generator, ground mount solar array, security chain-link fence, New C.M.U. block water treatment building, and new SCADA to run water treatment plan. We will work with interested MBE/WBE/VBEs to create custom scopes of work/supply to meet their particular needs. We will encourage a consortium of MBE/WBE/VBEs when any particular item(s) of interest are too large for one MBE/WBE/VBE firm to handle individually. We will work with interested MBE/WBE/VBE to divide total requirements into economically feasible, smaller tasks or quantities to permit maximum MBE/WBE/VBE participation.
