DBE Goal: 21%

DESCRIPTION OF WORK
The work generally consists of existing roadway demolition, construction CIDH piles in wet conditions, installing a bridge structure, retaining walls, new roadway work, utilities, storm drain system, traffic signal, signing and striping. The structure will be a three span, cast-in-place prestressed (CIP/PS) concrete box girder bridge. The structure will be 335'-0" long and 66'-0" wide. There are no existing structures at the proposed location. Utility improvements will include 647 LF of 12” water line, 567 LF of 24” waterline, 503 LF of 18” recycled water line, and 342 LF of 48” recycled water line within the new bridge structure and roadway. Roadway improvements will include a new pavement section, vertical realignment of the bridge approaches at both ends, lighting. This is a 260 working day contract. Estimated Construction Cost: $14,000,000

FEDERAL REQUIREMENTS
This project uses Federal funds, the following provisions/requirements apply:
- Buy America
- Federal Davis-Bacon Act
- Disadvantage Business Enterprise (DBE): 21% utilization
- Federal Trainee Program: 13 trainees or apprentices
- Sam.gov registration

LOCATION OF WORK
The work to be constructed is located on Bradley Road between Rio Vista Drive and Potomac Drive in Menifee, CA.

Assistance will be available in obtaining bonds, lines of credit,
insurance, necessary equipment, supplies,
materials or related technical assistance.
