South Tahoe Public Utility District �" Washoan PRV Station, South Lake Tahoe, CA. The site of the work is located in South Lake Tahoe, CA within the Washoan Blvd right-of-way between Acoma Cir and Nadowa St.. The work to be performed consists of installing a new pressure regulating valve (PRV) station consisting of one 2” and one 8” PRV and accompanying electrical and controls panel. The PRV will be installed in an underground concrete vault. There will be an electrical/instrumentation/communications cabinet installed aboveground on a concrete pad within the right-of-way. A new electrical service will be installed to power the cabinet. Piping and valves will be installed underground within the vault and will be connected to the existing system after pressure testing and disinfection. The asphalt road and shoulder area will be resurfaced in-kind. Vinciguerra Construction, Inc. is seeking quotes for all qualified subcontractors and suppliers including certified DBE, UDBE, WBE, MBE, SBE Firms for the following items of work included but not limited to: Erosion Control/Revegetation Materials furnish & placement, Surveying, SWPPP, Dewatering, Waterworks Supplies & Appurtenances (Water Main Piping, Pipe Fitting’s, Gate Valves, Valve Boxes, and Water Service Valves), Electrical, Precast Concrete Vault, Sheeting, Shoring, & Bracing, Traffic Control, Construction Area Signs, Excavation/Earth Work, Sawcutting, Asphalt Milling, Asphalt Concrete; furnish & placement, Aggregate Base; furnish & placement, Import Soil; furnish & Placement, Concrete; furnish & placement, Pavement Striping, and Trucking. Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) participation is encouraged. Our firm will consider dividing total requirements, when economically feasible, into smaller tasks or quantities to permit maximum participation by DBE's in the competitive process. Our company will also consider consortium of DBE's should a contract be too large for firms to handle individually.
