Project Description:
Work includes demolition and replacement of motors, valves, instruments, controls, and other appurtenances associated with the cryogenic oxygen production facility at East Bay Municipal Utility District's Main Wastewater Treatment Plant (MWWTP). Existing pneumatic controls will be replaced with new electronic instruments and controls. The work also includes re-coating of existing steel cold boxes, new controls, integration of controls into the MWWTP's distributed controls system (DCS), fire protection, fall protection, seismic retrofit of panels, and all materials, equipment, services, and construction inherent to the Work. EE $9.6-$11.7 million.

Major items for the project include:
Subcontractors / Suppliers: demolition, lead removal, rebar, cast-in-place concrete, concrete repair, anchor systems, hot-dip galvanizing, welding and brazing, steel framing, metal fabrication, perlite insulation, thermal protection, moisture protection, painting and coatings, fire suppression, fire sprinkler system, fire alarm, plumbing, piping, fitting/valves, air compressor motor, electrical/instrumentation, optical fiber, and trucking.

Anderson Pacific Engineering Construction, Inc. is requesting subcontractor and material supply quotes from qualified and certified White Men-Owned Businesses, White Women-Owned Businesses, & Ethnic Minority-Owned Businesses to meet the project participation goals. All firms are encouraged to participate. Subcontractors need to be aware that this project requires Davis-Bacon and State of California prevailing wage rates. Bonding, lines of credit, and special insurance limits may be required; please contact APEC for assistance. EOE.
