Project Description: This project is the replacement and upgrades of the Dissolved Air Flotation System including work in the Sludge Thickener, Gravity Thickener, Scum Disposal Facility Buildings. Concrete work is repairs to the Dissolved Air Flotation Tanks (including condition survey, chip and patch, crack injection, removal of equipment rails at bottom of tank) and misc equipment pads, pipe supports and penetrations. Mechanical work includes removal & replacement of sludge collector systems and associated pumps and piping. Electrical Work is being performed under a separate prime contract. Work is sequenced to maintain plant operations.
