At the Monterey Regional Airport for the REPLACEMENT TERMINAL FACILITY project located in Monterey, California
PREQUALIFICATION SCHEDULE
Applicants shall submit, and be evaluated on, information with respect to their experience on projects of similar size, scope, and complexity. The information shall include general and specific experience, claim and surety history, basic financial information, ability to meet schedule and budget requirements and skills in general management and coordination.
If interested in more information or interested in participating in the prequalification process and subsequent Bid Package(s), Applicants are to contact Jason Conrad with Hensel Phelps via email (provided below). Applicants must fill out the pre-qualification forms completely. All pre-qualification forms must be submitted to Hensel Phelps Construction Co. (Attn: Jason Conrad) no later than May 28th, 5:00 PM PST. (jconrad@henselphelps.com)
Those Applicants who meet the pre-qualification criteria and are deemed pre-qualified to perform work on their respective trades will be invited to participate in the formal Bid Package Process and will receive a Building Connected invite to download the bid documents. Once awarded, the subcontractor will be tied to the prime contract and subcontracted to Hensel Phelps. Applicants who do not submit the pre-qualification application or do not meet the prequalification criteria will be precluded from participating in the subsequent Bid Package(s).
The new two-story terminal will consist of approximately 60,000 sf of enclosed gross building program with a Structural Steel Building and Mass Timber Roof structure. A total of five (5) Passenger Boarding Bridges (PBB) will be attached to the terminal facility, allowing for single level passenger processing.
All Subcontractors and their tiers will be required to be compliant with California Public Contracting Code §20146 and as defined in California Public Contract Code §2601.
Due to partial Federal funding through an FAA grant, the new MRY Terminal will be subject to Buy America - Buy American (BABA) requirements.
100% Payment and Performance Bonds are required for amounts over $100,000. Workers' Compensation and Waiver of Subrogation will be required of all Subcontractors.
