The Wheaton Public Library ("Library") is soliciting competitive bids for the City of Wheaton Public Library Plaza Rehabilitation project. The Wheaton Public Library Plaza Rehabilitation project will repair and restore the Library's west plaza to provide outdoor experiences, including performances of art and culture, children's programs, outdoor theater, and a space for visitors to meet and collaborate or work independently.

Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting/Site Visit: There will be a mandatory pre-bid meeting followed by a site visit held on June 11, 2025, at 8:30 am (CST) at the Wheaton Public Library located at 225 N. Cross Street, Wheaton, IL 60187. The Library does not open until 9:00 am, therefore Vendors shall gather at the main entrance and will be escorted to the pre-bid meeting. Attendance is required at the mandatory pre-bid meeting for those wishing to submit a bid. The City will not accept bids from Vendors that did not attend and sign-in at the mandatory pre-bid meeting. This will be the only site visit offered.

BONDS
A Bid Bond / Bid Deposit of 10% of the full contract price is required.

The successful Contractor shall submit the following upon Notice of Intent to Award.

Payment and Performance bonds of one hundred ten percent (110%) of the full amount of the award.
