Skanska USA Civil West California District Inc. is interested in soliciting in Good Faith all subcontractors and suppliers as well as CUCP certified DBE subcontractors and suppliers related to the scopes of work below:
Requested scopes include, but are not limited to the following and should be based on the Contract and its amendments: Jet Blast Fencing, Airfield Lighting and electrical System, Airfield Signage, Construction Material Supply, Construction Survey and Staking, Demolition and Removals, Earthwork, Hot Mix Asphalt (P-403), Joint Seal, Lean Concrete Base (P-306), Cement Treated Subgrade (P-220), Pavement Markings, Portland Cement Concrete Pavement (PCCP)(P-501), Recycled Aggregate Base (P-219), Quality Control, Security and Escort Services, Storm Drainage System, Temporary Barricades, Temporary Erosion and Sediment Control, Temporary Fencing, Traffic Control Flagging, Trucking, Utility Investigation, Vacuum Sweepers, Crack and Spall repair (P-510), and Seeding (T-901).

General Work Description: Reconstruct existing Portland Cement Concrete (PCC) panels and Asphalt Concrete (AC) shoulders on Taxiway S, east of the Cucamonga Channel, within the airfield. The project includes, but is not limited to demolition of existing pavement, subgrade preparation, stabilized base, concrete and asphalt paving, airfield lighting electrical work, airfield markings, airfield signage, and other associated work.

Requirements: Skanska is an Equal Opportunity Employer and is requesting quotes from all qualified subcontractors and suppliers. Skanska will assist qualified subcontractors, vendors, & suppliers in obtaining bonding, lines of credit, insurance, necessary equipment, materials and/or supplies. If you are a DBE Company, please provide your certification letter with your proposal. In order to assist DBE subcontractors and suppliers, we will divide total requirements into smaller packages, tasks or quantities & establish delivery & construction schedule, which will permit maximum participation when feasible. If you are a Non DBE, please indicate all lower-tier participation on your quotation as it will be evaluated with your price. Project documents can be reviewed by appointment in our office Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 4:00 pm. Skanska's insurance requirements for subcontractors per the OIAA specifications include but are not limited to: Commercial General Liability (GL) $10M each occurrence, $1M personal injury, $2M products and completed operations aggregate and general aggregate, $10M Auto Liability, $5M Excess/Umbrella, and $1M Workers Compensation. Endorsements and waivers required are the Additional Insured Endorsement, Primary Wording Endorsement, and a Waiver of Subrogation (GL & WC). Other insurance requirements may be necessary per the scope or RFP documents. Subcontractors may be required to furnish performance and payment bonds in the full amount of their subcontract by an admitted surety and subject to approval by Skanska. All quotes must include the cost of badging as required by OIAA. Quotations must be valid for the same duration as specified by the Owner for contract award (180 Calendar Days). Conditions or exceptions in Subcontractor's quote are expressly rejected unless accepted in writing. Skanska is signatory to the Operating Engineers, Laborers, Cement Masons, and Carpenters Unions. Subcontractors must provide weekly, one original and one copy of all certified payrolls, including non-performance and fringe benefit statements if required by law or by the Prime Contract. All Contractors and Subcontractors must be registered with the DIR (Department of Industrial Relations). Include CSLB License Number and DIR Number on All Quotes submitted.
