Project Description:
Replacement of an existing 1937 NJDOT owned two-lane highway bridge (Structure # 0850-160) on Mantua Boulevard (CR 676) over an existing active Conrail line. The proposed bridge will provide: 11' lanes, 9' shoulders, 6' sidewalks, guiderail, lengthened bridge single span, reconstructed abutments, wing walls as needed, 45 MPH roadway design, and all required rail clearances. This early works project will expand the rail footprint (shared-use corridor) beneath the structure for the future Glassboro Camden Line (GCL) Project. The existing Conrail line will be shifted in a later GCL Project.
