Project Details

We are soliciting quotes for aggregate suppliers, HMA suppliers, demolition contractors, grading contractors, paving contractors, striping contractors, tennis court striping contractors, street sweeping, and trucking.



Bear Creek High School

• Approx. 58,000 Sqft 8 Tennis Courts (Red Boarder on Map)
• Contractor shall obtain and pay for any licenses required to perform the work.
• Work shall be performed when current forecast weather conditions are consistent with product manufacturers specifications.
• Open existing fencing to get equipment in and out.
• Secure all fencing after installation.
• Grind and overlay existing courts.
• Apply paving fabric over entire court surface prior to laying asphalt.
• Feather new asphalt along inside fence to create a smooth transition.
• Bring courts to proper grade for drainage and CIF compliance.
• Replace all net posts in kind.
• New nets and reels.
• Apply 3 coats of color mixed with 90 mesh sand.
• After each coat has been cured, scrape off any ridges or excess material.
• The finish surface shall be smooth, free of ridges, valleys, or tool marks.
• All coats to be applied with squeegees in accordance with manufactures printed instructions. Court colors to be owner's choice using ICP Paints (Formally California Products) or equal color.
• Paint standard dimensioned court lines 2'' wide using latex white paint. All lines straight and true.
• Approx. 34,200 Sqft. Of Basketball Court (Blue Boarder on Map)
• Existing basketball court to be ground and overlay in depth of 3"
• All striping to go back like for like on basketball courts.
• Contractor to verify square footage before bidding.
• Construction Schedule based on 40-hour week.
• All Work to be completed before July 30th, 2026.
• Provide Manufacturer's warranty and 1 year labor warranty.

Lodi High School

• Approx. 52,000 Sqft. 7 Tennis courts (Blue Border On Map)
• Contractor shall obtain and pay for any licenses required to perform the work.
• Work shall be performed when current forecast weather conditions are consistent with product manufacturers specifications.
• Open existing fencing to get equipment in and out.
• Secure all fencing after install.
• Grind and overlay existing courts.

Quotations will be broken down into comparable packages as reasonably necessary. Every Subcontractor is required to be registered with the State DIR to perform public work. Subcontractors must be prepared to furnish payment and performance bonds issued by a California admitted surety that is acceptable to Martin General Engineering (MGE). MGE will reimburse the Subcontractor for the premium costs of the bonds at standard premium rates not to exceed 1.5%. The Subcontractor must possess current general commercial liability insurance and workers compensation insurance per Owner's requirements. MGE's listing of a subcontractor in its bid to the public agency is not to be construed as an acceptance of all the Subcontractor's conditions or exceptions included with Subcontractor's price quotes.

MGE is signatory to the following unions: Operating Engineers, Laborers, and Cement Masons.
